MCM Centrifugal & Vortex Pumps
The large-capacity Imperial series Hydro-Mulchers® move a lot of slurry, so they rely on heavy-duty MCM pumps built for high volume. Bowie offers three MCM models, with several impeller sizes so you can match the pump to the flow your job requires.
The MCM 178 centrifugal pump is standard on the Imperial 1500 with an 11" impeller and on the Imperial 3000 with a 13" impeller. The MCM 250X handles higher flow demands. It is standard on the Imperial 4000 and optional on the Imperial 3000, in 5X4 or 6X5 configurations. The MCM 250 Vortex is built for materials that contain solids or debris or are highly viscous, and is optional on the Imperial 3000 and Imperial 4000.
