Alternative Daily Cover Mulcher Models
Built tough to withstand the rigors of landfill usage
Alternative Daily Cover (ADC) replaces the layer of soil a landfill must spread over its working face at the end of each day. Instead of hauling and placing dirt, operators spray a slurry of fibers, binding agents and other ingredients that forms a durable cover. ADC saves significant time and money in daily operations and preserves airspace, extending the life of the landfill site.
Bowie ADC machines are built tough to withstand the rigors of landfill use. The ADCM 800 and ADCM 1100 both run a 47 HP Yanmar diesel and a Bowie 3500 series gear pump that discharges thick ADC materials without cavitation or clogging. A mulch shredder bar speeds loading and mixing, and large flotation tires handle soft ground. The same units also apply revegetation and erosion control materials.

Bowie's line of ADCM Hydro-Mulchers® can tackle the toughest landfill project requirements. Whether applying the thickest alternative daily cover materials, or providing general revegetation and erosion control materials, these heavy-duty units perform well in any landfill environment.
ADCM 1100
